Description Yousuf Haider 2007-06-18 19:40:33 UTC
Steps to reproduce:

1.Create a new project in Visual Web 5.5
2.Open project in NB6
3.Deploy on bundled Glassfish

Will get following output on server output:

Caused by: org.apache.jasper.JasperException: /Page1.jsp(5,60) PWC6341:
According to the TLD, deferred-value is specified for the attribute id of the
tag handler com.sun.webui.jsf.component.PageTag, but the argument for the setter
method is not a javax.el.ValueExpression

This issue has been reported with NB VWP 5.5 and Sun App server:

This has to be fixed since it effects migration of 5.5 projects.

Looks like this is a Glassfish issue

The project seems to be working OK with Glassfish

System Application Server 9.1 (build b41d-beta2) ...

But fails on

Sun Java System Application Server 9.1 (build b50-beta3) ...

Comment 6 Winston Prakash 2007-06-18 22:30:50 UTC
I'm working with Ryan Lubke (JSF RI team expert) to
find out if this is a Glassfish related issue.
Comment 7 Yousuf Haider 2007-06-20 00:40:10 UTC
After discussion with Winston, Possible cause may include reference to old woodstock jars which can be resolved by doing
a clean and build.

Doing a Clean and build resolves the issue.

Marking this as Fixed and RELNOTE.
