The trunk contains substantial improvements compared to 6.0, on the order of 4 seconds versus 4 minutes for my test
case. I would like to have access to the official performance tests to verify the fix.
Comment 2 Viktor Lapitski 2008-01-12 01:49:23 UTC
fix for 122550 was pretty generic in nature and resulted in the improvement here as well.

Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200802110004)
Java: 1.6.0_03; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.6.0_03-b05
System: Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86; Cp1251; ru_RU (nb)

It takes approx. 4 seconds to open UML diagram on the specified configuration. Automated tests report approx 2700 ms on
recommended hardware, 1st usage results are much worse - more than 7 seconds.
Comment 5 Alexander Kouznetsov 2008-03-14 17:29:55 UTC
See URL field for latest results. Time is about 3 seconds.
Comment 6 Sergey Petrov 2008-03-14 18:22:30 UTC
How these tests work, may nb startup affect tests result or there is enough time between nb startup activity and uml
Comment 7 Sergey Petrov 2008-03-14 18:49:36 UTC
ok, got it from link, it seems 3 seconds should be in relatively stable nb state
Comment 8 George Vasick 2008-06-10 17:03:47 UTC
Removing obsolete assignments. Bugs will be reassigned for M2.
