Description barty 2008-03-09 06:33:26 UTC
When creating a new color profile (instead of using the default "Netbeans" color profile), the RHTML (ruby html) settings

Tools > Options > Fonts & Colors, Syntax, Language RHTML (Ruby HTML)

are ignored and the editor always reverts to the settings in the default Netbeans profile. Clarification: when I make changes to the settings, they do work.
However, when I restart the IDE, they just revert back to the settings in the default Netbeans profile.

My workaround is to switch to the Netbeans color profile, set the colors for RHTML there, then switch back to my color profile, and restart the IDE. Only then do
the settings stick.

I vaguely recall this was fixed in an earlier build but seems to have returned. I'm using nightly build 200803081203

Reproducible in a dev build. Do you remember the issue number when the problem was reported last time? (if not, no problem)

sorry I don't remember the issue number; I haven't been able to search for it either.

this issue also applies to JSP tags, not just ERB.

moving opened issues from TM <= 6.1 to TM=Dev

I have tried to play with profile in JavaScript files. Seems to work ok. Passing to ruby owners for evaluation. If anything is broken in editor and/or CSL please assign back accordingly. Thanks.
