Description mbien 2008-06-22 09:25:31 UTC
The pack200 packaging support introduced with the javafx plugin is great but has actually nothing to do with javafx. So
please move it to the Java SE project.

I second the motion. Please integrate pack200 support into JavaSE projects and/or "project properties -> Java Webstart".
Comment 2 mbien 2008-12-15 09:25:35 UTC
also the keystore manager which not a j2me specific feature too:

many features are only available for specific project types or in specific modules. IMO the netbeans team should sit
together and consider moving as many general purpose features into se modules/project types.

Changing the default component owner to tzezula.
Comment 4 Tomas Zezula 2014-07-14 06:32:52 UTC
Can someone summarise requirements (expectations) from these enhancement?
The Ant based NB project copies dependent jar files to lib folder however the pack200 can package single jar. What to do with dependencies? Should be put into fat jar before packing?

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
