Description singa76 2008-06-25 09:34:03 UTC
I am using version
Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200806090002)
Java: 1.6.0_06; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 10.0-b22
System: Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86; Cp1252; en_GB (nb)

I created a code template at
"Tools | Options | Editor | Code Templates"

After the new code template is added, the wizard does not allow editing of the "Abbreviation"
I have to delete the template and re-add it as a new name.

reassign to editor for evaluation

While unfortunate it was actually designed this way. The abbreviation is used as a unique identification of a code
template. Things have changed a little bit since the original design and IMO the UI could now be changed to allow
editing of the abbreviation field.
