Description cadorca 2008-07-13 20:11:43 UTC
Now a day when you design a web application you should select a server to your deployment, but what happen then when you
want to change the target server yoo can register the new server in services and change the project server, but this
fails in some cases, because the previuos generated files web.xml, My propousal is that it should be like java "Design
one run everywhere" so the editor should be able to run on one main target server but at the same time you can say,
compile to Glassfish, JBOSS, Tomat, Oracle OAS, WebLogic, ...., be able to maintain many server configurations.

Reassigning to web. Sounds like an enhancement for me.
