Can you please capture several thread dumps when IDE is slow?

Yes please, capture some thread dumps and attach them here. Also, what file type were you editing and how big
(approximately) were both that file and the text you were pasting? What build (About -> Help) were you using? Could you
please attach the log file here, it's in <ide-userdir>/var/log/messages.log. Thanks

Comment 6 Vitezslav Stejskal 2008-09-05 10:31:58 UTC
Thanks for the threaddumps. Unfortunately the first two show absolutely no activity and the third one only shows some
activity in 'GSF Source Worker Thread'. I would expect activity in AWT thread which blocks rendering and generally any
events processing. Are you sure that the dumps were taken when the IDE was frozen? This can be hard to achieve if the
freeze periods are short...

It is probably a duplicate of issue 124094 - at least no information that was given proves wrong and no new pieces of
information were given. Making this issue a duplicate of issue 124094, feel free to reopen if it is not the case.
