Description ulfzibis 2008-08-15 14:20:34 UTC
[ BUILD # : Beta ]
[ JDK VERSION : 1.6.0_07 ]

Found on editing file '' from "Files" window.

In contrast, '*' disappears after undo on *.java files.
Comment 1 Petr Dvorak 2008-08-18 12:05:34 UTC
Reproducible in 200808170243. Java files work fine, but for example "" leaves the asterisk in the file
tab even when all changes are undone. (It seems similar to issue 132590.)
Comment 2 Jan Becicka 2008-09-01 15:27:39 UTC
Seems to be specific for properties files.
Comment 3 Marian Petras 2008-09-05 03:45:18 UTC
I will not fix this in NB 6.5 (there are many more serious bugs).
Comment 4 Victor Vasilyev 2010-05-14 01:26:19 UTC
Probably bug 185938 has a relation to this bug.
Additional investigation is required.

Probably bug 181767 has a relation to this bug.
Comment 7 Jesse Glick 2010-07-07 18:03:00 UTC
See also bug #188386 comment #7.
Comment 8 Jesse Glick 2011-10-18 16:55:13 UTC
See bug #181767 comment #5. The properties data loader is unnecessarily complicated; there is no compelling reason for it to recognize all locale variants together.
Comment 9 Jan Peska 2012-04-12 13:30:50 UTC
This issue is caused by non-default UndoRedo manager in ProperiesEditorSupport. Possible fix will be a part of fixing -> Duplicate
