There is no way to save the page size for queries in the database
explorer, and it defaults to 20 records. I don't believe that this is
a particularly useful number of records for the average use case.
Please allow the user to set the default for this in the options
dialog.

Will this be considered for a patch set? It's really annoying to have to issue every single query a second time with a
reasonable number of records; 20 will never be enough.
