Description Geertjan Wielenga 2008-09-22 14:07:46 UTC
Customer needs windows to animate while minimizing/maximizing into the sides of the NetBeans Platform. I.e., cosmetic
'effects' are being requested to improve the user experience, like on the Mac.

Yes, this would be useful to have.
We have users in our NB platform app who close windows and then don't know how to re-open them.
Some simple animation telling then where the window has gone would be very helpful.

i went through the code and found out that some kind of effect are already implemented - try running netbeans with
-J-Dnb.winsys.sliding.effects=true switch
