Project window's context menu could have "Diff selected files" in case when two files are selected. That would be a very
nice and efficient shortcut. Thanks

Worksforme. Tested in 7.3

Try the following:
Select 2 files, open the context menu, choose Tools->Diff. This will diff the selected files.
