Description Alexey Vladykin 2009-02-05 14:31:37 UTC
To be able to receive any signals fired by Qt widgets, user's classes must have slots with certain signatures. It would
be good to assist user in generating these slots, e.g. by adding an optional second step in "New Qt Form" wizard.
Another option is to add generation of such slots into code generation menu along with constructor, getter/setter, etc.
Comment 1 Alexey Vladykin 2009-02-17 10:30:50 UTC
Code generation menu (Alt+Ins) is better option.
Comment 2 Alexey Vladykin 2009-04-14 17:47:17 UTC
In Qt Creator it is possible to click on a widget and choose one of the available signals; after that corresponding slot
code is automatically generated. There were requests to add similar feature to NB e.g. by integrating with Qt Creator.
