I am not able to find any way how to copy any text from history view to clipboard. I wanted to copy changeset number. Usability issue IMO. Linux/Gnome/GTK. Product Version = NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 090408) Operating System = Linux version 2.6.24-24-generic running on i386 Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_13; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 11.3-b02; Sun Microsystems Inc. Runtime = Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.6.0_13-b03 Java Home = /usr/java/jdk1.6.0_13/jre System Locale; Encoding = en_US (nb); UTF-8
select changeset & ctrl+c should work
It is what I get. Still it is not what I need. I would like to copy changeset number and put it to url in browser. In addition Edit -> Copy action is disabled even if changeset is selected. I would like to select any substring using mouse and then copy it to clipboard. Result of Ctrl-C (it is not clear that such shortcut is available and what will be actualy copied): 101640 Fri Sep 12 08:34:02 CEST 2008 S. Aubrecht <saubrecht@netbeans.org> #144402 - Can`t run NetBeans on OpenJDK port for Mac OS X (SoyLatte) with default settings Only way I found is to export changeset and then get what I need.
cdev #0c39dec8a64c if you now select changeset & press Ctrl-C, changeset is copied too (as the 2nd column): 2 a80134832733 Fri Apr 10 14:09:39 CEST 2009 ondra@linux-1b7u initial
