When there are only solitary files in kenai project's repository root or folders with non-project files (like docs/ or whatever), there is currently no straightforward way for users to browse these files and open them in editor from Kenai dashboard. An easy solution would be to add an action in Kenai dashboard in Sources/Source Code Repository section of the opened kenai project called "Browse local repository..." (under the existing action "Open local project...") and the action would 1) open Favorites tab and 2) add the root of the checked out repository as a favorite folder there for me and 3) expand this folder (if possible with the current APIs).
So far I consider this as P1 RFE for next release, Standa and Honza can say more about possibility to implement this even for 6.7 release.
This is doable if there is an api for adding folders to favorites tab.
Milane, is there any API for adding folders to favorites view?
Honzo, talk to Richard about the Favorites.
