Description oopman 2009-05-12 15:54:34 UTC
Hey guys, PHP 5.3 is just around the corner at this point (RC2 was released earlier this week). I would imagine it will
start rolling onto servers pretty soon after it goes gold.

It would be nice if NetBeans 6.7 or maybe 6.7.1 supported new syntax introduced by PHP 5.3. These are:

Namespaces, Lambdas and Closures, Goto Keyword, Nowdoc, Default Ternary operator, etc

PHP 5.3 support will be probably the main theme for the next NetBeans PHP Support release (6.8)

What is the current status here?
Comment 5 rmatous 2009-07-28 09:22:19 UTC
we are working on it: syntax/semantic coloring is done (so no red error badges for php 5.3 features), next navigator
shows namespaces and code completion should be finished by milestone 1 which should be out very soon.
