Description Ondrej Langr 2009-05-25 14:52:53 UTC
1) Refresh in the Kenai dashboard does not refresh issues (and during usability study was expected to by some participants)
2) Some participants expected to find refresh in the contextual menu on the Issues node
Comment 1 Tomas Stupka 2009-05-25 15:51:39 UTC
the fix for issue #164486 (which is duplicated by this one) was integrated on 200905140201. please verify if the
usability study wasn't made with an younger build. Otherwise fixed.

*** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 164486 ***
Comment 2 Ondrej Langr 2009-05-25 16:05:41 UTC
This session run on a build from May 14, so it probably really is the case. Thanks!

Still reopening as an enhancement, because 2) is not covered by the other issue.

Stando, please clarify. Thanks.
Comment 4 Stanislav Aubrecht 2009-05-26 08:35:13 UTC
it's not a big deal to add 'refresh' to context menu, might be also nice to have some sort of 'refresh' button in the
issue list node directly as i imagine this action would be invoked quite frequently
Comment 5 Jan Becicka 2009-05-26 08:51:11 UTC
New feature in 6.8 will be Instant (Server Side) notifications. IDE will be notified about new issues, scm commits etc.
immediately through xmpp protocol. Refresh button should not be be used frequently, ideally not at all. So let's wait
for plan, before doing any UI changes related to refresh.
