Sometimes you only care about a few things in a dependency graph - it would be useful to delete nodes.  For example, a
wicket project depends on Jetty - but not really, it just embeds it for unit testing - so I would like to unclutter the
graph by deleting jetty (and therefore any of its dependencies that only it depends on) from the visible graph.

the problem I see is that it's not clear if just the view is gone or the dependency from the pom. We have a bunch of
generic filters (like hiding based on scope) that should fill the role.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
