Description _ gtzabari 2009-10-09 04:45:12 UTC
dev build 200910071536

I'm not sure if this issue is reproducible, but I just ran across a serious hang that required me to kill the Netbeans
process. All I remember doing is opening Tools | Options and clicking the "Hints" tab. Nothing seemed to happen (the
hints tab never got selected) and it's been stuck ever since then.

Please see the attached thread-dump and messages.log.

This issue is reproducible 100% of the time. Please note that I am running an early-release jdk build as well as
Windows7 but looking at the stack-trace I don't think they are the culprits. Can someone please try reproducing this
under a better understood environment?

Reassigning to editor.

This should be already fixed, see issue 174023
