Description ingoreinhart 2009-10-31 19:27:43 UTC
[ BUILD # : 200910301401 ]
[ JDK VERSION : 1.6.* ]

Hello,

with the latest build the IDE not start up, after updating "XYZ API". I don't know the right name, sorry.

The loader shows a few seconds: Loading Cached Objetecs. Than die without an error.

I have the same problem
Comment 8 manuelcarrizo 2009-11-02 14:59:50 UTC
I solved the problem with this steps

* Backup config folder (~/.netbeans/dev/config in linux)
* Remove Netbeans install (/usr/local/netbeans-dev*) and user info (I have in ~/.netbeans/dev/modules)
* Reinstall Netbeans
* Start Netbeans and close it
* Copy backup of config to ~/.netbeans/dev
* Enjoy

Integrated into 'main-golden', will be available in build *200911031401* on http://bits.netbeans.org/dev/nightly/ (upload may still be in progress)
Changeset: http://hg.netbeans.org/main-golden/rev/b8f3c167593a

Log: #175853: need to update openide.filesystems too.
Comment 10 Jesse Glick 2009-11-03 15:38:13 UTC
Only should have affected people updating dev build to dev build; forgot to push changes in one module.

Should be blocking issue #20838 but apparently I am not allowed to change that field now...
