Description craig100 2010-02-09 15:18:39 UTC
Whenever the Open Project dialogue box opens, the whole IDE freezes and has to be shut down using "Force Quit". Unable to open projects unless they are already in the Start Page Recent Projects list. Devastating effect on production!

While running into this could you please take and attach thread dump?

Incomplete Thread Dump

Thread dump taken but as the IDE/UI totally freezes, and I don't know what the process_id is to kill it, I just saved the terminal output as text. Hope this helps.

Thread dump taken in terminal window as requested but not sure if it was done right as IDE/UI freezes. Also not knowing what the Java process_id was, couldn't issue the kill -QUIT command properly. Hope this helps!

From the thread dump, it looks like you use a soap module. Could you try to switch off the module for the while and try it?
Comment 5 craig100 2010-02-10 05:38:18 UTC
Deactivating the SOAP UI plugin fixed the problem

However, I need to use this plug in frequently, it's V3.0 source:com-eviware-soapui-netbeans-module-3.0.nbm.

I guess I'll have to contact eviware to let them know.

Regards,

Craig
