In NetBeans 6.7.1 there was a wonderful plugin (named "XML Schema and WSDL") that allowed to quickly browse XML schema documents. This plugin was dropped in NetBeans 6.8 and did not reappear in NetBeans 6.9.

Searching the web for a reason why the plugin was dropped I found the information that the plugin was dropped because of too many bugs.

Working with this plugin quite often I never experienced a problem. Yet, I only use the source and the schema view and never the design view. Therefore I assume that the problematic part is the design view.

The plugin is of great use even without the design view. Therefore I ask if the plugin could be offered again, maybe dropping the design view.

PS: I am still forced to work with NB 6.7.1 because I need this plugin for my daily work.
