Description gliesian 2010-10-21 17:17:19 UTC
Consider the NetBeans IDE's help page, "Java File and Object Node Icons"...

In this page, a colored in Java icon is defined, "JAR file or WAR file."

However, dimmed JAR files and Jar files with the letter 'J' attached to them are not.

Can you please explain the latter two in documentation. I assumed the dimmed means "not used" and I'm not sure what the J means, maybe includes unit tests?

I have attached a screenshot of the icons.

Here is the meaning available through the tooltip:

"The dependency has Javadoc JAR available locally"
