Currently neighter manual (via entering characters '/' and '*') or automatic (through Source->Toggle Comment) methods are convenient to comment out part of the code line. The first one inserts comment close chars */ immediately so developer needs to manually delete them. Also when entering first char of closing sequence Editor completes it to "**/" instead of "*/" The Toggle Comment command acts on the whole source line(s) which include selection, not the actual selection ifself.
