According to:

http://wiki.netbeans.org/TS_67_Profiler

Point 6.1 (Monitoring)

12. Switch to Threads (Statistics) graph panel, select a part of the graph - press left mouse button somewhere on left side of the part and drag it to the right side of the part. The selected part should be fit into the graph's boundaries.

should be possible.

At MacOS X it doesn't work. I can't "drag a line" in area of threads. There is no such thing as Threads (Statistic), so I am not sure whether I try the correct pals (see screenshot to confirm that I am checking right place).

A new graphing library is used since NetBeans 7.0 for these charts, zooming by dragging is no more supported. As a replacement, mouse wheel is now used for zooming.

Changing to ENHANCEMENT, zooming the selected area might be still useful for some use cases.
