In the 'Show Changes' view it would be helpful, when I select files to see as a tooltip (or similar) how many files I just selected. 

EG in our case I want to see if the list of changed testreports that need to be checked into svn coincides with the list of failed tests (before I commit them)

tooltip is already reserved for a file's path. What about having this in the contextual menu - e.g. 'Commit 25 Files'
