[ BUILD # : 201110140600 ] [ JDK VERSION : 1.6.26 ] If I accidentally close an editor tab, I'd like to be able to right-click the editor tab bar and "Reopen recently closed tab", like in a web browser. Even though I can work around this via File > Open Recent File, I'd also like to be able to do this with output tabs, for which there is no obvious workaround.

That would be a separate RFE (platform/Output Window) since it is in an unrelated component. Anyway I doubt it is possible in that case since the contents of an output tab are generally discarded when you close it: it is more like a terminal (shell) window than a web page.
