Description seaman 2012-01-12 17:58:51 UTC
No matter how large I make the tree, I cannot get the vertical scrollbar to appear on the Projects tabbed panes.
Product Version = NetBeans IDE 7.1 (Build 201112071828)
Operating System = Windows 7 version 6.1 running on x86
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_23
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 19.0-b09

We need more information. messages.log from your user directory will tell us something about size of your screen. Try to generate snapshot of AWT hierachy by Ctrl-Shift-F1 to help us understand the layout of your components.

Then reopen.

I'm having a similar problem. Eventually my vertical scrollbar disappears on Projects explorer tab (and other tabs in the same window group). I've tried minimizing the window group to see if that helps, but it doesn't. I've also tried closing the Projects window, but it doesn't help either. The only way I've resolved the issue is to close Netbeans and re-open.

Here's my current information:

Product Version: NetBeans IDE 7.1 (Build 201112071828)
Java: 1.6.0_23; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 19.0-b09
System: Windows 7 version 6.1 running on amd64; Cp1252; en_US (nb)

Picture is useless. I said:
1. we need dump of the AWT hierarchy.
2. then reopen.

I think I'm just going to go back to 7.0. There's too many bugs with the 7.1 version.

This is happening regularly for me.
I'd like to supply the information requested but I'm having a bit of trouble.
When I start netbeans from the command prompt I'm unable to redirect the output.
The output from swig hierarchy is too bit to capture without redirecting.

Please let me know how to capture the information you require and I will supply it.

M

This is still an issue - I'm having it as well on 7.3 in Windows 7 x64 using JDK7 - This is the same issue as Bug 214517..

Still an issue in 7.4, Windows 7. Could indeed be related to remote desktop, as it didn't happen before I connected remotely.
