This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
((This was originally opened as issue #207576, but the bug report changed into something to do with Java 7.)) The fullscreen mode in NetBeans 7.1 does not work on OS X Lion as it hides the menu bar. Unless the user knows the key command to exit the fullscreen mode, the user will have to reboot their computer to exit netbeans. Please fix this bug so that fullscreen mode in NB7.1 works again, just like in NB7.0. IMHO NB7.1 has been a complete damp squib because of this one oversight and I would strongly encourage it to be fixed in the upcoming patch. WORKAROUND: remove all the toolbars and maximise the window. However, this is still not as good as fullscreen mode as the window bar still remains (loss of 1680x100 screen real estate).
Oh no you don't mmirilovic!!! This is *NOT* a Java 7 specific issue. Do not hijack this bug report like you did for issue #207576. It is real and happening on Java 6. I've changed it to JDK_1.6 - the JDK associated to OS X Lion.
The people working on issue #207576 have decided to address the original bug report, so this fork is no longer needed. And apologies mmirilovic, it was saubrecht who hijacked the original bug report ;-P *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 207576 ***
