When first maven project is create, Netbeans starts to download index from Maven repository (long task), and code completion feature show "Please wait..." all time.

Is possible that code completion works while Netbeans download index repository from Maven ?

Please note that even after the index download is interrupted, the code completion no longer works and shows "Please wait..." all the time.
