Description bht 2012-03-03 06:41:44 UTC
I often forget to code it.
Comment 1 Jiri Prox 2012-03-05 12:03:59 UTC
It is already implemented
See Options -> Editor -> Hints -> Standard javac warnings
there is hint 'Fallthrough', just turn it on
Comment 2 bht 2012-03-06 16:47:00 UTC
Sorry and thanks!
Comment 3 cezariusz 2015-04-06 16:32:59 UTC
Please consider turning this on by default. JDK 8 compiler warns about it, so you should as well. I didn't know about this option until I've found this issue.
Comment 4 Ralph Ruijs 2015-05-04 07:20:51 UTC
Reset assignee and changing to defect, as I think the warnings in the editor should be consistent with javac.
Comment 5 Martin Balin 2016-07-07 07:17:58 UTC
This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.

Thanks for your cooperation,
