On the mailing lists there are frequently questions about how to customise some aspect of the installer that can be built for a NetBeans Platform Application. Building installers from the IDE is very useful, but configuring almost any aspect of it requires indepth knowledge of the build process and the installer code. It would IMO be very useful if the install folder, publisher, version etc. could be changed in the IDE.
