I changed this hint to Warning and Error (and tried the default warning on current line) and it is still no displaying in case like:

function test(){
    t = 1;

foo = 1;

Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build web-main-9631-on-20130104)
Java: 1.7.0_10; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 23.6-b04
Runtime: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.7.0_10-b18
System: Linux version 3.2.0-34-generic-pae running on i386; UTF-8; en_US (nb)

I'm not sure if this should display the hint as this is assignment...

The variable is marked in our model as defined, because it is on the left side. But I agree that the hint should be there.
