Description _ pkuzel 2002-04-16 19:03:51 UTC
It'd be interesting if it had knowledge whether it
represents parameter or general entity. It could
be then utilized by check action etc.

I think "external parsed entities" and "external parameter entities"
differ in extensions. Parsed entities use ".ent" and parameter
entities use ".dtd".

Look at http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc3023.txt (3. XML Media Types) which
could explain it better.

I think only problem is that parsed entity can use ".xml" extension
which is associated with "document entities" and it is hard to detect
(you should read whole document) if it is just parsed entity.

Let these are considered while planning next release.

Target milestone was changed from not determined to TBD
Comment 4 _ pkuzel 2003-03-17 16:10:43 UTC
.ent vs .dtd addresses most of it.
