Please enable to set "ignored folders" in the FTP sync. There are so many temp files, cache files, images, etc. which I do not need locally. So I would prefer to do something like a rightclick and "add to ignored folders list". If there is then an empty folder locally, it would be ok.
All those files can be added to Ignored Folders and then they are not visible in the remote synchronization, or not? Please provide more information and reopen this issue. Thanks.
Yes, but you can only add them to the ignore list, when they are aleady local. On a project, where gigabytes on files are on the server I never need them all to be downloaded. So it would be handy to add them to the ignore list directly in the sync dialog. My current workaround is: 1) change the project setting to upload manually only 2) create the folders by myself locally 3) add them to ignore list 4) change project back to upload on save 5) sync
I see now, it makes sense. Thanks!
Please take a look at #168811 and #213388. I think they're requesting the same.
Also, the "Ignore folder" option only allows to ignore a folder, but it doesn't allow to ignore a single file.
