Currently you can click in the gutter to create a
breakpoint.  It would be nice to enable bookmarks
or other arbitrary functionality in a similar way.

You could use the shortcut for adding a bookmark

Set target-milestone of open issue to TBD (was < 7.3, f.e. 6.8), so the issue doesn't get lost.

Another idea: Use double-click (instaed of Shift+click) for Toggle Bookmark.
