Shipped global key bindings could use platform specific variations: disable a shortuct on a certain OS (most notably MacOS), or enable a shortcut specifically on a certain OS. This way shortcut that conflict with the system - defined or widely used application shortcuts could be remapped.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
