Description Martin Janicek 2013-05-15 13:19:00 UTC
Created attachment 134473 [details]

When using Norway Today as the profile and Dark Metal as the Look & Feel, the editor doesn't look good if there is an error in the source code (see attachment).

I would say it would look better if the line would be redly underlined in the same way as when using standard theme setting.
Comment 1 Stanislav Aubrecht 2013-05-15 14:34:25 UTC
It's a problem of the editor color schema, nothing to do with dark l&f theme.
Please reassign to appropriate product/component, thanks.

You can change profile, just go to Options-Font&Colors-Syntax-(Language:)AllLanguages(Category:)-Error

Change background to inherited value and change effects to wave and red color.
Comment 3 Martin Janicek 2013-05-16 12:44:59 UTC
Would it be possible to make it as default value ?
Comment 4 Milutin Kristofic 2013-05-16 12:55:09 UTC
If there is a few votes, I will change it. You can start discussion on forums, netcat.

Dark themes were moved to the NetBeans Update Center for NB 7.4

This is majorly annoying and even worse with debugging. It puts a light green background behind white or light gray text. It is unreadable and unusable!

Changing the defaults is also a nightmare as it requires changing 20+ settings for debugging / current program counter / broken breakpoint / Conditional breakpoint / etc.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.

Thanks for your cooperation,
