set up this settings:
Tools->Options->Miscellaneous->Windows->Look and feel: Dark Metal
Tools->Options->Fonts&Colors->Profile: Norway Today

I have been working some hours with appearance: {Dark Metal, Norway Today} and I must confess it hurts my eyes. Look at attached file img_01.png, it's difficult to read these things:

1. at line 9 - imports
2. at line 17 - "@author"
3. at line 21 - selected variable "properties"
4. at line 31 - the word "new" is completely unreadable
5. code folding

Look at attached file img_02.png, it's too difficult to read selected file, especially:

1. at line 9 - import statement
2. at line 21 - variable definition
3. code folding

jsf tags hard to read

Dark Metal & Norway Today combination makes very hard to read JSF tags when code suggestions feature is used (CTRL + SPACE)

JPQL suggestions not readable

You can see in the attached image that the second option from code completion little window is not readable. It's very hard to use code completion if you can't read the available options.
Black foreground on dark black background is not a good combination for readability.

Dark themes were moved to the NetBeans Update Center for NB 7.4

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
