This bug was originally marked as duplicate of bug 232939, that is already resolved. This bug is still valid, so this seems to be another bug, but it might be related.

Report http://statistics.netbeans.org/exceptions/exception.do?id=700701 is about 43s in org.netbeans.modules.web.project.ui.customizer.CustomizerProviderImpl.showCustomizer()	


however that is just one report other reports (from 7.4) come from various places. I guess I need performance team's help to decide what to do with this (and duplicated, and newly arriving) issues.
