Description kitfox 2014-04-25 07:11:22 UTC
I use annotation processors to create some of the code in my project, and I find the 'compile on save' feature plays havoc with those things working properly. It would be nice to have this feature disabled by default to eliminate hard to understand bugs that are caused by my project compiling at strange times.

The feature has lots of fans. Turning it off by default will be a regression.
I believe that correctly written AP which supports incremental compilation work with compile on save. Probably having list of APs which does not and disabling CoS for them.
