Created attachment 147240 [details] Thread dump Both Netbeans 8.0 and Netbeans 7.4 (I have not tried with earlier versions) are hanging randomly in MacOS X 10.9. This is very weird since is difficult to describe. It is like the IDE has a high probability to hang after completing an operation that requires an extra dialog, like: - Advanced renaming - Finding in projects - Open Preferences and then press Cancel - Opening and closing About Dialog - more... For example, when I press "Find in Projects" or right click in a project and then "Find" and perform the search, the results are showed in the GUI (in the dockable panel) and a second later, the IDE hangs and never comes back, the cursor shows the busy state... at this moment, Netbeans was using about 3% of the CPU most of the time. I'm noticing that this doesn't happen as soon I startup, I'm suspecting that this happen once I use the IDE for a couple of minutes and I try to perform any of the mentioned operations. I'm suspecting that this is a VM problem since it doesn't happen in Linux nor Windows. I don't know, really weird and I don't have much description to provide. Operating System: MacOS X Mavericks 10.9.2 Java: 1.7.0_51; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 24.51-b03 Thanks!
