No Code Completion

As you can see in my little screencast, the code completion for a .c file doesn't appear when I type a character. It only appears after type ctrl + space. This works, but in all other types it appears after typing a character too.

In the screencast you can see, when I type p...r...i...n... nothing happens. After deleting all and type pr again AND hit Ctrl + Space, the code completion list comes up as expected, but only after typing ctrl + space.
