Switching between editor tabs using shortcut Ctrl-Tab is not reliable.

I have several tabs open in the editor and I want to frequently switch between two tabs using shortcut Ctrl-Tab. But it only works if I wait for the pop-up (list of open files) before releasing the Ctrl key. If I release the Ctrl key before the pop-up appears, another tab is activated (not the recently used one).

This works in NetBeans 8.0.
