What tutorial ?

While I could add the NPE check, I cannot see a way how null could reach the point of error from reading the code, so I would like to understand how the situation happens, so I'll probably need the exact sources and more precise reproduction steps.

 I follow this tutorial:

database setup.. maven setup...
Everything is fine until
--Adding Hibernate Files and Dependencies--

I'm not fluent in hibernate but the generated xml config file was not valid. I had to cut a <session-factory/> in order to open the file and continue the tutorial.

After showing dependencies graph and going back to the hibernate config file the exception occurs.
