The JDK 9 is will integrate a new java version scheme described by JEP-223 (JEP-223) and developed in the Verona project (http://openjdk.java.net/projects/verona). Most of incompatible usages in the NetBeans source code were already fixed on jet-main/jdk9 branch. However there are several in non j2se cluster which need to be resolved.

Closing. All dependent issues are fixed. Issue #256778 was also solved with binary patch.
