Product Version = NetBeans IDE 8.2 (Build 201705191307)
Operating System = Windows 7 version 6.1 running on amd64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.8.0_111
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 25.111-b14

Reproducibility: Happens every time

STEPS:
  * Click on Window->Output or
  * Press ctl-4

ACTUAL:
  nothing happens

EXPECTED:
  output window to display
------------------------------------------------------
STEPS:
  * Help->Report Issues

ACTUAL:
  Both the Output and the "Report a New Task" widnows are displayed
 
EXPECTED:
  Beats me


Sorry. I tried the Netbeans forum and Netbeans does not accept my "I am a human" entry. But this is an issue for me.
