Description pepperpusher 2002-09-20 21:15:08 UTC
A major improvment in the UI of the Options window
would be a search field which sets focus for the
1st matching branch on every key-typed event...
Comment 1 Jan Lahoda 2002-09-24 15:31:20 UTC
This should be done in core.
Comment 2 pepperpusher 2002-09-24 17:05:17 UTC
Actually, on the gui is enough, search has to be simple, just
substring match to all branches of options and the result of the
search should be focus on best match branch.

when building the options tree store names in a hashmap, write a best
match algorith, something simple, move focus to element whenever value
in search field changes. not need for core changes.
