Maybe I am wrong, but, it's not because the NBBuild is done with Ant 1.5.3 that the Ant module is based upon Ant 1.5.3. Are you really sure that when I download NB3.5, the ant module is the 1.5.3 ? If not, please, reopen the issue. Thanks
Indeed, this is no duplicate, that was a mistake. The NB Ant module still bundles only 1.5.1. Dusan, status? This is important to do promptly or we have a version mismatch.
OK - I will commit the 1.5.3 into the Ant maintrunk tomorrow. What about the ant-docs module???
Well of course ant-docs should be updated in parallel in the CVS trunk. You know that ant/build.xml's release-helper target is designed to make this whole process easier, right? BTW see also issue #20856. All packages are supposed to now be included in the Javadoc. I think you can therefore remove the packagenames attr from <javadoc> in this target. AFAIK if you build with recent versions of Ant (like 1.5.3) it will then automatically scan for all packages to include in the Javadoc, so you do not need to hardcode them. Also Step 8 can now be automated fully. Use <makeparserdb> from nbantext.jar. See e.g. apisupport/apidocs/build.xml for usage.
Ant 1.5.3 committed into the CVS trunk. Concerning ant-docs, as far as I know, John has recently made some a11y changes to the ant-docs 1.5.1 that should be preserved somehow?
Ant 1.5.3 docs never made it. But we can probably do 1.6 (code + docs) for 3.6.
