In the online help topic "Creating a Group of Files" it says To create a group of files: 1. In the Explorer, right-click the file or files you want to be in the group and choose Tools > Create Group. I right-clicked on two Java Bean files and Create Group does not show up on the context menu.
Does anybodu know what is this functionality about?
Is it supported by DataObjects? It is described in online help but there is nosuch popup menu item.
I just checked: Menu item Create Group IS present in NB 3.4.1 but it is NOT present in NB 3.5. UI could comment on this. It seems it was removed but online docs was not updated.
Part of utilities module.
I confirm: This functionality was removed and the docs were not updated.
Any particular reason this functionality was removed? Any particular reason why nobody was notified it would be removed? Will it return?
Adding Marian to the CC list as he might be the one to answer the questions I just posted.
Never mind. I thought Marian meant the group functionality was gone, when now I see that it is merely the contextual menu item. So I deleted the first procedure and added a second.
Candidate for 3.5.x bug fix release
