Description jdcaverly 2004-02-02 05:27:21 UTC
I just downloaded and installed the NetBeans IDE on my
Mac G4 running Mac OS X 10.2.8. When I
launch the IDE, everything seems to start up fine. When
I click on either the EDITOR or DEBUGGER tab, the IDE GUI
seems to respond appropriately. Unfortunately when I then
try to switch back to the GUI Editor by clicking on the GUI
EDITING tab, I get a java.lang.ArrayOutOfBoundsException
popup message. Almost every subsequent attempt to click
on any of these 3 tabs results in the same message popup.
Fortunately it appears that once I close the popup message
window, the IDE appears to work as intended.

Marek,

it's already fixed - I think.

Tim, you have Mac, please could you confirm Marian's feeling? Thanks.

The code in question (the tabbed pane that threw the exception) is long since gone
from the NetBeans codebase. I encourage you to try the upcoming beta of NetBeans
3.6, or one of the recent development builds - I put a lot of work into getting it
looking and feeling better on Aqua.
